The Land Marine Nature Reserve Diving Lundy Homepage |
Lundy's position in the Bristol Channel means that many rare species grow in the water around it. This and the wrecks around its coast attract sport divers and researchers in increasing numbers.
As well as the creatures below the sea (photos), there are numerous seals, often in the Landing Bay.
The waters around the island are England's only statutory Marine Nature Reserve and two of the wrecks are "Protected" and require a licence to visit. Please find out more if you wish to dive around Lundy. The island warden will be happy to help.
Ilfracombe Sub Aqua Club have prepared information on diving around Lundy, including tidal information and a map of dive sites. These pages are not currently maintained.
