Lundy lies in the Bristol Channel between England and Wales. It is nearest to the coast of the English county of Devon. The nearest place on the mainland is Hartland Point (16 km /10 miles to the south) and boats travel to the island from Bideford and Ilfracombe (both about 25km / 15 miles).
