You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Society at The Boniface Centre, Crediton, EX17 2AH on Saturday 9th March 2024 from 12 noon. See here for directions. We hope you will be able to join us to renew friendships and meet other members of the Society.
There will be a secondhand book sale and The Lundy Company will have a stall. Lucy Lo-Vel, our new Membership Secretary, will also be selling her Tide & Isle merchandise, inspired by Lundy stamp designer John Dyke. There will be displays about the past year’s conservation breaks. Tea and coffee will be available on arrival but please bring your own lunch.
We are delighted that Charlotte Carty of the Kohima Educational Trust will be joining us to speak about John Harman VC, eldest son of the former owner of Lundy, Martin Coles Harman. This year is the 80th anniversary of John making the ultimate sacrifice at the Battle of Kohima.

Auction of donated items in aid of LFS funds
The afternoon will conclude at approximately 5.30pm and we will retire to the Red Deer, near Tesco and the station, where there is plenty of parking. Members are very welcome to come for a drink.
